COMPARING SAMSUNG GALAXY S5 TO HTC ONE M8: WHICH IS BETTER? (PART III)

There are too many Android smartphones out there, but just some of its are really good. Among these smartphones, Samsung Galaxy S5 and HTC One M8 deserve to be two of the top Android smartphones, but which is better? This article will help you review it.

PERFORMANCE
Both Samsung Galaxy S5 and HTC One M8 have strong configuration. HTC equips a CPU 2.3GHz SnapDragon 801 and 2GB Ram for M8. By contrast, S5 has a CPU 2.5GHz SnapDragon 801 and 2GB Ram. The configuration of S5 and M8 is very strong, enough to play every hard games, it reacts fast to user’s toughs and I don’t see any lags when I’ve used S5 or M8. However this is a review article, so we need a winner. After make a 3Dmark test, the winner is HTC One M8 because M8 scored 20600 points, better than S5 (18500 points).

PRICE
If you want to buy S5 or M8 with contract, the price is the same (99.99 usd for S5 and 99 usd for M8). But if you want to buy it without contract, you must pay 699.99 usd for S5, more expensive than M8, HTC sells M8 at 649.99 usd for an unlocked phone.

CONCLUSION
Generally, I think Samsung Galaxy S5 is the better choice than HTC One M8 because S5 has better camera, longer battery life, performance is also very good (M8 can be faster, but not too much), if you buy S5 with contract, there is no different price between S5 and M8. Samsung also usually upgrades OS and software for their products (HTC is slower).
